About Us

AKATT began with a desire to help. We started by working with families teaching self=defense. We then started working with at risk groups such as realtors providing training on how to understand threat assessment and minimize risk. This included encouraging brokers to develop safety and security policy that should be in place for the protection of their realtors. From there we naturally moved into the direction of churches. Churches as with many people focused organization are soft targets. Initially we worked to help churches develop safety and security policy and procedures. We found more churches wanted to have something in place then really wanted to do the work required to actually have an effective program in operation. Statistically 70% of churches have no program at all. We expanded our role in order to meet the needs of churches and other organizations in order to assist them in providing a safe and secure environment for their congregation and organizations. We come along side or and assist in the development and continuation of an effective safety and security program. 

There is a REAL need. Did you know that the Madalay Hotel Resort part of MGM Resorts International had to pay a settlement of between 735 to 800 million for the 2017 shooting that killed 59 people and wounded many others.

It is important to have a program in place to do everything we can to stop events like these from happening before they actually occur. In the event they do occur, we must know how to proceed to correctly mitigate damage to life first, and property. It is our goal to stop the bad guy before they can hurt others. That is why AKATT exists. To help good people have a plan of action to provide a safe environment.
